Mike Garrett, Executive Director
Mr. Garrett holds a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance from Texas State University, San Marcos. He began his healthcare career in 1991 at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and later worked for Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston. Mike has held multiple healthcare positions during his career including claims administration, financial audit, provider network development and provider relations, credentialing, and managed care contracting. Mike was also involved in the initial development Memorial Hermann’s clinically integrated network. In 2005, Mike was named Managed Care Director for Providence Healthcare Network, where he was responsible for contracting with insurance plans on behalf of Providence healthcare facilities, physicians, and their retail pharmacy.
Rich Haskett, MD, Medial Director, Providence Healthcare Network's VP of Clinical Integration
Dr. Haskett is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist at Waco Center for Women's Health and has practiced in Waco since 1992. He received a Bachelor of Science from Baylor University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude. He attended UT Southwestern Medical School and received his specialty training at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. After initially starting in 1992 as a solo practitioner, he joined Drs. Brian Becker and Mark Moore to start WCWH 11 years ago. Prior to accepting the C4T Medical Director role, he served as the C4T Initial Board Chairman.
Katrina George, MSN, MBA, RN, Director of Clinical Integration & Care Coordination
Ms. George is a Wisconsin native, who relocated to Waco in 2004 after completing four years in the United States Navy. She holds a Masters of Nursing Administration degree and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Texas Tech University, graduating summa cum laude. Prior to beginning her work with Care4Texans, Katrina worked as the Director of Case Management at Providence Health Center.
Amanda Chasteen, Sr. Business Systems Analyst
Ms. Chasteen is a Central Texas native, originally from Temple. She holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Tarleton State University and a Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Psychology and minor in Business Administration from Texas A&M University. Prior to working for Care4Texans, Amanda has 10 years of experience in the Reimbursement Department of Providence Healthcare Network. She has been involved with administration of managed care software systems, Medicare Cost Reports, financial audits, and general hospital finances.
Angelique Santiago, Executive Assistant
Ms. Santiago is a California native, who recently relocated to Waco. She received a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Communications with a Minor in Journalism from California State University. Prior to her work with Care4Texans, Angelique worked for the House of Representatives, California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and the U.S. Geological Survey.
